SMS Media Group Adds Location Based Targeting to its Mobile Ad Platform
Aliso Viejo, CA - Orange County-based mobile messaging company, SMS Media Group, has been quietly building its opt-in, mobile advertising network. As part of its efforts, the company today announced the launch of its LBZ (Location Based Zipcode) technology.
The LBZ technology is integrated into their SMSdelivery text messaging platform and SMS Ad Manager. "Our LBZ technology lets us identify the zipcode of wireless users from their handset," says Sheri Wells, CEO of SMS Media Group - "Location based advertising is the next wave in mobile marketing, and with this new addition to our platform, our customers can now target messages based on location even when the wireless user doesn't provide their geographic data."
